Welcome to Beckfield College’s Fall 2024 Commencement Ceremony!
We are proud to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our graduates. This milestone marks the beginning of new journeys for each student, and we look forward to honoring their dedication and success. Join us on November 7, 2024, for a memorable evening filled with celebration and recognition.
Event Details:
- Date: Thursday, November 7, 2024
- Time: 7:00 PM (Graduates must arrive by 5:00 PM)
- Venue: Northern Kentucky Convention Center, Covington, KY
Parking: $5 – $10
The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 PM, so please plan to arrive early. Below are key details about the event.
Important Information:
Caps and Gowns
Visit Beckfield’s caps & gowns page on Jostens and follow the instructions to select your program, height/weight, and finalize your order.
Diplomas
Graduates will receive a diploma cover during the ceremony. Official diplomas will be mailed approximately 10 weeks after the event.
Photography
The ceremony will be photographed by You See Photography, capturing individual moments as graduates receive their diploma covers. To receive information about purchasing your photos, please complete the contact card provided at the event.
Class Rings
To order your class rings, visit Jostens. Select “Class Rings,” and type “Beckfield College” to find your campus options.
Commencement Agenda:
5:00 PM: Graduates arrive at the venue and receive a card with their name, program, and honors.
5:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Rehearsal.
6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Break.
6:30 PM: Line-up for the ceremony. Guests should arrive and be seated by 6:45 PM.
7:00 PM: The ceremony begins.
- Note: Make sure to bring your cap and gown, and avoid bringing guests into the lineup area.
Procession & Seating:
- Graduates, Faculty, and Guests will be seated in designated areas.
- When your program is announced, head to the stage ramp, hand your card to the Beckfield staff, and proceed to the stage to receive your diploma cover.
- Photography Tip: Pause as you receive your diploma for a photograph.
- Graduates receiving bachelor’s degrees will be hooded by a Beckfield administrator.
